Shrubby Senna (pea family)

This deciduous shrub has gray-green leaves one inch long and 1/2 inch wide. It reaches a height of 6' by 8' wide. June to September it has bright yellow flower clusters. Once established, it is very drought tolerant. Watering deeply once a month increases the flowering. Use this plant as a background for any of your native grasses.
